The auction is one of the guild's major fundraisers during the year.  The items that are sold are donated by the members, and are grouped into the live auction, silent auction, or Chinese auction; the boutique; or they are placed on the book and pattern tables.  We will be collecting donations at the June and July guild meeting.   The Point of Contact is 4th VP, Patty D.

For a printable Auction Donation Form, click here.  The information on the form is used to put together the list of items that will be auctioned off at the guild meeting.  Or, click here to send an email to Patty with a description of your items.

Volunteers are needed to organize auction items and to help on the night of the auction.  If you wish to volunteer, please contact Patty or email her at auction@lakeviewquiltersguild.org

Remember all those lottery blocks that Cynthia and Fran have been collecting at our monthly meetings?  Sets of them will be auctioned off at our August meeting.

This beautiful quilt was made by members of the Friendship Bee -- it can be yours for the right bid!

Take a look at this unusual large red and green crossed leaves quilt; it's 95 by 95 inches.  Notice the wonderful double half-square triangle sashing.  The quilt top was purchased on eBay from a reputable dealer, and quilted and bound by LQG guild members.

Here's a lovely 27 by 27 inch four-pumpkin quilt donated by J. Evans and D. Green.  It would make a wonderful wall hanging in your home, or a gift for someone special.

Why don't you join the guild's 'Que Bee?  It is a great bunch of gals who meet at St. Paul's the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 to 2:00 -- they share friendship, information, and have fun with each other.  This year, they made this 62 by 72" blue basket quilt for the auction.  For the right bid... you can take it home!

Your guild Board of Directors made this quilt for
the auction... and made sure it had LOTS of
double feathered wreaths to fill the alternate
blocks.   Whoever makes the high bid on this
beauty will sleep warm in August!

Marilyn C. made this quilt -- it will be quilted and auctioned off in August.

Wowie -- look at this quilt!  No, no, no... it will not be in the auction.  But the BLOCKS that make it up WILL be in the auction!  Nearly all of the applique is done - it's just a matter of stitching the blocks together and you can have your own "All Around the Town" quilt.

Cynthia C. and Denise G. have both donated the quilting of a quilt to the auction.  If you have an unfinished quilt top -- or BUY one at the auction -- you can put in some bids on getting the quilt top quilted.  Awesome!

Save your money for another great auction!
