Mixed technique quilt or wall hanging (less than twin size). Not judged.
14 x 10 inches. Machine quilted, Glued, Machine pieced. 2002.

These fish are actually layers of fabrics glued to a solid piece of fabric.  Once the fish were completed they were glued to a pieced background, covered with tulle and quilted.  Even the borders are glued on.

This quilt was made for my daughter's Occupational Therapist.  She was expecting her second baby last fall. She and her husband are both sailors hence the ocean theme.  She has graciously let me borrow it back for the show.  Pattern:  Picket Fence - Something Fishy is Going On - High Tide Series
