Mary Lou Weidman's workshop inspired this vase wall hanging.
The 3-D flowers were a challenge to create.

This wall hanging was started in the early 1960's. Embroidered by Chris Jahnke, it was finally finished and hand quilted in 2001. Machine pieced by Cynthia England.

Our literature class was studying the Harlens Renaissance and were required to do a class project. I chose the poem "October Prayer" by Esther Popel to base my project on. This wall hanging is my interpretation of the poem.
