201 Karen Watts -- Spiral Mania

The 9 blocks were made by members of my Bee in 1999. Each member, when it was their turn, could ask for the kind of block they wanted. I asked for "funky spirals". When I set them together I used the "twist-n-turn" technique by Sharyn Craig, and just had to make more spirals for the border!. Can you find the chicken in one of the blocks?
