203 Karen Watts -- Color Fusion

Pieced quilt or wall hanging (less than twin size). Judged.
57 x 57 inches. Machine quilted, Machine pieced. 2002.

I had a lot of 9 patches laying around from an abandoned project and decided to "play" one day. Since the blocks were on the dark side I started grabbing bright fabrics to give them some pizzazz, and when I put the zigzag fabric in for the sashing I loved it! The tie-dye border fabric finished off my color play. The quilting is all done with rainbow variegated thread.
