720A Debbie Griffon -- Cock-a-doodle Dandy

Mixed technique quilt or wall hanging (less than twin size). Not judged.
28 x 32 inches. Machine quilted, Hand appliqued, Machine pieced. 2000.

This was a result off a fat quarter pack challenge issued to Kindred Spirits by Sherry Thomas. I chose a traditional group of fabrics then added 2 of my own. Even though I tried to make a traditional quilt, it ended up funky. I embellished the quilt with buttons from my button collection. Note the rooster's toe ring. Adaptation of Mary Lou Weidman's "Chicken Soup".
